Banking Specialists are responsible for delivering high-quality customer service by understanding each client’s unique financial situation and recommending suitable banking products and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) based in Clinton, MD. The Banking Specialist focuses on providing excellent service, supporting sales and financial needs, and building long-term customer relationships while promoting appropriate banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage customers through branch interactions, phone conversations, and scheduled appointments to drive sales and service outcomes
• Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services
• Assist with account opening, transaction processing, and lending/service-related inquiries
• Utilize CRM systems and digital banking tools to strengthen customer relationships
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations, and risk management standards
• Support branch operations and contribute to achieving performance goals

Additional Responsibilities:

• May be eligible to serve as a Notary Public

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience preferred

• Customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset
• Ability to collaborate effectively and use digital tools efficiently

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
