Job Description:

Client Support Specialist help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Support:

  • Strengthen and nurture client connections by actively communicating with clients, managing their requests, resolving queries, offering assistance, and maintaining the accuracy of essential information and paperwork
  • Recognize and aid in selecting Firm services and solutions that align with clients' needs, comprising banking products and services as well as secure, digital offerings like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
  • Confirm approval and validate the identity of the customer in request handling
  • Arrange and ensure the upkeep of client accounts, involving the collection of client data and mandatory documentation, processing monetary transactions for instance
  • Evaluate and handle client account alerts in a timely fashion

Other:

  • Work alongside financial consultants to craft a comprehensive business strategy and fulfill service commitments to clients
  • Aid the team in executing their marketing plan by overseeing promotional materials, managing online and social media channels, and organizing customer gatherings and workshops
  • Stay actively involved in relevant training sessions and educational initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals, personal advancement, and awareness of policies, protocols, and innovative platforms, while also making a commitment to attending designated monthly training calls for field service personnel
  • Support Financial Advisors through various administrative tasks including answering calls, organizing travel logistics, scheduling client appointments, completing expense reports, and managing filing and scheduling
  • Be actively involved in firm initiatives driven by local management
  • Continuously explore options to leverage company assets for exchanging insights and collaborating with Financial Advisors

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency
  • College degree preferred
  • Industry expertise is a strong advantage
  • Enthusiasm to procure Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) as well as Series 65 (RA) qualifications

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Possessing strong abilities in computer literacy and familiarity with various Microsoft Office tools
  • Exceptional written communication, interpersonal aptitude, and customer care capabilities
  • Possessing a strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational abilities and the knack for task prioritization
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with peers and contributing to group success
  • Proficiency in handling tasks in a quickly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Motivated by objectives, self-directed, and oriented towards achieving outcomes
