Job Description:Financial Center Manager

The primary function of this role is to supervise all activities, personnel, and day-to-day operations within a bank branch. The focus is on implementing the Webster banking center network strategy to achieve targets in sales, customer service, profit and loss management, operations, and staff development, as well as assisting in accomplishing District objectives. The essential duty is to secure, integrate, and enhance new and ongoing client relationships. The colleague must establish and uphold strong partnerships with segment and line of business partners by fostering collaboration and effective communication.

Responsibilities: The obligations and tasks that you will be expected to fulfill:

• Ensure the consistent achievement of all sales objectives, retention metrics, and Superior Service Quality (SSQ) criteria.
• Establish, carry out, and oversee an elaborate business blueprint and take part in setting up team goals for sales and service.
• Cultivate and sustain client relations by actively encouraging the uptake of additional services and swiftly resolving client queries. Implement strategies that align with the segmentation plan for existing clients by introducing sales methodologies, retention strategies, and diverse bank projects to reinforce the development and profitability aims of the Banking Center.
• Establish, foster, and enhance critical customer segment associations through dedicated sales initiatives and advocating for referrals.
• Ensure familiarity with the complete suite of Webster's asset, liability, and partner products, as well as the alternative methods for their use.
• Mentor and foster team accountability by exemplifying strong leadership skills and leading by example.
• Make the most of and showcase the usage of all sales tools and resources that are accessible to you.
• The goal is to meet or exceed branch operations review standards by completing audits promptly.
• Ensure conformity with Federal and State statutes and bank regulations.
• Organize the shifts of branch personnel to meet the service demands of customers while allowing for adaptable staffing levels at the banking facility.
• Encourage team members to deliver superior results by holding them accountable for their performance. Improve employee engagement by offering coaching, support, and timely, constructive feedback to the team.
• Facilitate the training of new team members regarding the policies, procedures, and operational roles within the banking center to ensure their effective integration.

Skills and Abilities:

• Detailed expertise in the products and services provided by retail banks.
• Having strong customer service proficiencies, the ability to build relationships effectively, organizational skills, adeptness with computers, familiarity with contemporary technology, and excellent communication abilities are key qualifications.

Education Qualifications:

• Successful completion of high school or attainment of a General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory
• The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree in Arts or Sciences

Experience Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in banking is essential, highlighting a strong background in leadership roles, customer service excellence, effective management, communication prowess, and organizational abilities
