Commercial Banker

Job Description:

The Commercial Banker supports FirstBank’s service excellence by efficiently handling transactions, identifying customer needs through a structured assessment process, and delivering appropriate banking solutions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong customer experience.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: At least one year of banking experience is preferred.
Certification: Notary certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify customer needs and provide guidance in recommending and explaining banking products and services in line with established policies, brand standards, and service frameworks; refer customers to appropriate banking partners when needed.
Assist customers with both routine and complex transactions, including inquiries about account balances, transaction history, service fees, and interest rates.
Support Financial Center operations by performing Teller, Teller Manager, and Financial Service Representative duties as required.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and business clients to achieve branch goals related to accounts, sales, and service performance.
Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service in every interaction following FirstBank standards.
Comply with all banking regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including adherence to security protocols.
Maintain regular attendance and reliability in daily responsibilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
