Job Description:

The Investment Associate is proficient in delivering an outstanding customer experience by engaging in sales, service, and digital interactions with both Consumer and Business Banking customers. They assist in the smooth operation of branch activities, cater to customer service and sales needs, and schedule customer appointments to identify requirements and refer complex issues to suitable team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive customer engagement by educating them about Consumer and Business Banking services. Propose tailored solutions to address individual requirements and emphasize the importance of utilizing digital banking capabilities.
• Administering appointments and consultations involves supervising customer visits that are either scheduled or unscheduled to pinpoint their banking requirements and ensure a seamless transfer to the relevant banking associates for intricate issues.
• Abide by the sales process outlined by the bank and give simplified, customer-centric recommendations.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in the lobby, greet them, handle queries, and take ownership of resolving their immediate banking needs.
• Offer support in daily branch operations by aiding with customer transactions, addressing overdraft challenges, and verifying adherence to internal guidelines. Complete operational tasks as instructed.
• Compliance and Risk Management Practices: Remaining up-to-date with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Noticing and elevating possible instances of fraud. Securing compliance with operational and regulatory benchmarks.
• Customer Resolution: Promptly address and record customer complaints, following through with efficient resolution and proper documentation. Ensure customer concerns are resolved effectively and promptly.
• Sales Referrals encompass recognizing sales possibilities and guiding customers to the fitting banking partners for personalized product offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional service delivery and efficiently handle customer concerns.
• Expand sales opportunities and elevate customer satisfaction within the branch setting.
• Assume various roles within the branch setting, from commencing new account procedures and processing loan applications to troubleshooting and managing transaction processing.
• Convey understanding and care for customers, prioritize their satisfaction in every interaction, be ready to accommodate different situations, and exhibit comfort in utilizing digital technology when engaging with customers.

Criteria for Education and Experience:

• Holding a GED or a high school diploma.
• A background of at least one year in retail sales, call center functions, customer service, or telesales is mandatory.
• Skilled in verbal and interpersonal communication techniques.
• Proficiency in handling challenging customer interactions and a range of customer needs.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Aptitude for thriving in a high-pressure, team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.
• Adept at using internet-level technology effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adjusting bilingualism to suit the requirements of the branch.
• Proven competency in sales accomplishments or referral success.

Physical Requirements:

• Endurance in standing for long periods of time.
• Sustained usage of hands and fingers for an extended time frame.
• Competence in handling items weighing between 5 to 30 pounds in weight.
• Aptitude for reading small font.
• Competence in engaging with customers in a direct work environment.
