Branch Training Specialist

The role involves organizing training sessions for our Branch and Call Center teams on operations and sales. We are in need of someone who is enthusiastic about education and development within the professional setting, and who can lead training sessions for employees in a manner that is engaging and encouraging.

Responsibilities include:

• Guide participants through Rockland Trust procedures as part of the facilitation of Retail Learning & Development courses
• Assist in delivering training sessions that emphasize the importance of adhering to Rockland Trust's customer service standards and sales philosophy
• Prepare virtual and in-person classrooms for incoming participants
• Create all essential training materials for each class
• Provide guidance to Training Managers on incorporating new and relevant concepts into the classroom content to maintain engagement
• Facilitate both virtual and in-person sessions across multiple Rockland Trust locations
• Assess the skills and performance levels of employees
• Support the Retail Learning & Development Training Team with administrative tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications include:

• Prior training experience or relevant banking experience preferred
• Confidence in delivering engaging presentations to audiences of varying sizes and experience
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead group discussions and practical exercises while providing professional feedback
• Ability to motivate others with consistent energy, patience, and a positive outlook
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, focused, and systematic approach to achieving tasks and goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and workplace video conferencing tools
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with new hires and team members
• Willingness and ability to travel to multiple training locations within Rockland Trust's footprint
