Role Overview:CRA Loan Specialist

Responsible for promoting and marketing Truist Mortgage Loan products following bank regulations, with a focus on boosting sales. Facilitates referrals to other banking services and insurance offerings, offering clients top-notch advice and assistance.

Primary job tasks and obligations:

• Implement successful strategies for promoting mortgages and advancing business growth to achieve or surpass production targets.
• Keep informed about mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines employed by Truist.
• Adhere to all Truist guidelines and protocols, which encompass both state and federal laws.
• Offering valuable guidance on mortgages by thoroughly grasping the client's requirements and highlighting the advantages of Truist Mortgage products.
• Ensure that the referral process at Truist is consistently followed, linking mortgage customers with other banking services.
• Help with the completion of mortgage loan documentation follow-up for clients, lawyers, or property appraisers as necessary during quality checks or after the closing process.

Qualifications:

• One year of prior experience in the banking or lending sector is required, along with a fundamental understanding of various residential property categories.
• Effective organizational abilities, along with proficient written and verbal communication aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective negotiation capabilities.
• Competence in appropriate computer programs.
• Adherence to the regulations of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act, such as obtaining NMLS registration and undergoing a background check, must be completed within a 30-day timeframe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field, or similar experience in financial sales are both acceptable qualifications for this position.
• With over two years of experience in the residential mortgage lending sector, possessing a deep understanding of both the local market and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success in sales and previous experience in leading teams.
