The Branch Manager serves as the senior leader of the branch, setting the tone for exceptional customer service, team engagement, and professional development in alignment with UMB’s retail strategy. This role oversees all branch operations and may perform teller transactions and other banking activities as needed to support customers.

Ways to Allocate Your Time Effectively:

• Coach and guide team members on performance, including sales conversations, operational excellence, and customer interactions
• Support complex account maintenance and resolve escalated customer concerns
• Collaborate with internal partners such as Small Business Officers, Mortgage Officers, and Private Wealth Managers to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Engage in ongoing training and development to achieve personal sales goals and operational objectives

We Are Excited to Speak With You If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• At least two years of leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience
• Two years of experience in banking or financial services, or a comparable blend of education and professional background
• NMLS registration or a willingness to obtain registration within 90 days of hire
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and occasional evenings
