Job Summary:

In their role, the Branch Banking Assistant Leader is tasked with driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, while also placing a high value on maintaining a positive reputation in the local community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Elevate business performance through the enhancement of key client relationships and the achievement of financial growth targets. Actively pursue and coordinate suitable client connections to the appropriate team members to meet growth objectives and drive successful sales campaigns.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Assistance: Contributions made in coaching, development, and mentorship for team members. Actively supporting partner-driven sales and marketing campaigns. Reinforcing the importance of training, development, and coaching for branch teams regarding our mission and effective interaction with broader communities and customers to deliver on performance targets. Responsible for helping the Branch Banking Leader with talent management duties such as recruitment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring all staff members comply with regulations.
• Harness the power of tools and systems to elevate client engagement and educational experiences. Cultivate a culture that is deeply rooted in providing exceptional client service by wholeheartedly embracing our mission and purpose.
• Risk Management: Recognize and reduce risks associated with reputation, regulations, staff, and customers by helping team members understand and adhere to all pertinent bank policies and regulations. Achieve operational excellence goals.
• Managing talent management responsibilities, which include recruitment, performance evaluations, staff development, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring staff conformity with compliance directives.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Completes designated projects and additional responsibilities as mandated.
• Shows a dedication to abiding by the regulatory and compliance standards connected to the job as detailed and accomplishes necessary compliance training requirements. Responsible for adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations to guarantee compliance.

Job Qualifications:

• A high school diploma, GED, HiSET, TASC, or its foreign comparable certification is the minimum educational requirement stipulated for this program.
• The minimum requirement is a background of two or more years in branch sales.
• The S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its Regulation could dictate the need for National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration as a mandatory step.
• Interaction with a wide range of banking instruments and services.

• Competence developed through practical application of banking risk management strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The preferred educational requirement for this role is a 4-year undergraduate degree or relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience of over four years in branch banking and financial institution sales environments.
• Engaging directly in a leadership role.
