Job Description:

A Loan Servicing Specialist supports the administration and servicing of loan accounts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.

As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining customer loan accounts while delivering a high-quality service experience. Loan Servicing Specialists work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate loan processing, servicing, and issue resolution. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.

Primary Job Functions and Obligations:

• Provide guidance to customers regarding loan servicing inquiries, payment processing, account maintenance, and general loan information
• Ensure accuracy in loan documentation, account records, and servicing systems while adhering to bank policies and procedures
• Support loan onboarding, maintenance, and closure activities in compliance with applicable regulations, including BSA and CIP requirements
• Assist with consumer loan servicing processes by maintaining awareness of loan policies, procedures, and servicing systems
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer concerns and support efficient loan operations
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering responsive, accurate, and professional service
• Ensure all departmental documentation and servicing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including required compliance training
• Handle customer requests and transactions with accuracy and professionalism while identifying appropriate solutions
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain loan information clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced banking environment
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year of customer service, loan servicing, or banking-related experience preferred
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), if applicable to assigned duties

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to learn and utilize banking and loan servicing systems efficiently

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel may be required for training or operational support activities
• Ability to provide assistance and support to other banking teams as needed
