Teller Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer service experience while processing financial transactions, supporting existing and prospective customers, and contributing to branch sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by prioritizing customer needs and exceeding expectations
Handle basic customer transactions and financial operations accurately
Review and reconcile daily cash balances to maintain financial stability
Identify referral opportunities that support branch goal achievement
Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including strict adherence to Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through appropriate channels
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and business lines
Adapt to evolving digital banking channels and technologies
Perform additional duties as assigned

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the assigned branch supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience required

Skills and Competencies:

Strong customer service abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound business judgment and decision making ability
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Flexible scheduling based on business needs

Compensation and Workplace:
