Job Description:Commercial Sales Manager

At Regions, the focus of the Commercial Sales Manager is on providing credit and a comprehensive selection of product and service solutions to clients within a specific region.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Determines, organizes, and creates a strategic approach for fostering relationships with valuable existing clients and potential targets for business expansion
  • Offers informed counsel and remedies, establishes enduring client partnerships, and maximizes revenue prospects specific to the Commercial Bank industry
  • Isolates the latest client needs and introduces solutions ahead of time
  • Partners with relevant stakeholders in the business to develop portfolios collaboratively and deliver specialized knowledge effectively
  • Executes well-planned and professionally executed meetings with clients and potential leads
  • Supervises the transaction procedures beginning with the initial interaction to the ultimate finalization, incorporating the design, valuation, internal endorsement, compliance protocols, and paperwork
  • Working out contributes to improved financial acuity and the mastery of pricing techniques
  • Concludes coursework for Relationship Management Process training and credit acumen evaluation
  • Adopts standardized approaches obtained through the Relationship Management Process and necessary credit training

Timekeeping responsibilities are not applicable to this position as it falls under the exemption provided by the Fair Labor Standards Act, therefore, overtime compensation is not applicable.

There are incentives available for this particular position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Possess three years of experience in the Commercial Banking or sales sector, with at least one year focused on Relationship Management

Preferences:

  • Relevant graduate degree

Skills and Competencies:

  • Developed negotiation abilities
  • Strengthened communication skills through practice and learning
  • A favorable standing and an extensive web of industry relationships
  • Being adept in the use of Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is important
  • Improved capabilities in critical thinking and addressing challenges
  • Proficient business acumen

Compensation Details:

Compensation ranges are unique to each job and are utilized as a guide for determining pay decisions. Since these factors vary for each person, the pay will also differ among individuals within the same job role.

Participation in a discretionary incentive plan is available for those in this role, giving them the potential to receive a non-mandatory reward based on their performance against established metrics and objectives. There is also the opportunity to engage in the Long Term Incentive Plan for eligible employees.
