Role Overview:

The Cash Management Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while accurately processing a range of financial transactions. This role is key to strengthening customer relationships and supporting the smooth operation of daily branch activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments with accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate a teller drawer to assist customers and bank personnel in the branch lobby or at the drive-through window
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services and refer customers to the appropriate staff
• Develop the ability to detect potential fraud and escalate concerns to management for review
• Ensure adherence to departmental, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Promote and maintain the Wintrust cultural values
• Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participate in community events as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of six months of experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to travel between branches as needed
• Availability for flexible shifts, including Saturdays
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain standing for extended periods
