Job Overview:

The Regional Director of Equipment Finance is accountable for promoting various equipment finance loan and lease products to medium and large commercial customers in a designated area. This position emphasizes achieving outcomes and requires the ability to operate autonomously in identifying potential clients and maintaining a consistent outreach strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new business relationships and expand existing client portfolios
• Retain and grow existing customer relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with companies generating over $15M in revenue
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers to cross-sell banking products and services
• Prepare proposals, commitment letters, credit applications, and documentation requests
• Maintain knowledge of equipment finance products, loan policies, structuring guidelines, and documentation standards
• Ensure portfolio management and risk compliance align with credit policies and regulations
• Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities with existing clients
• Develop and execute calling strategies to generate new business
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage existing relationships
• Mentor team members in prospecting, credit analysis, financial spreading, and underwriting
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship:

This position reports to the Managing Director of Direct Originations.

Position Qualifications Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or related field required; MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years of equipment finance sales experience
• Experience with SuperTrump, TValue, Infoanalysis, and CRM systems

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong credit and analytical skills
• Ability to manage complex lending structures independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities
• Deep knowledge of equipment finance lending and leasing products
• Ability to structure loans and make sound credit decisions
• Proven track record in sales and business development
• Ability to work in a sales-driven environment
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Knowledge of commercial lending laws and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Additional Information:

Compensation will be based on education, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation or discretionary profit-sharing programs.
