Job Description: Personal Banker

Responsible for providing financial services including opening/closing accounts, assisting with customer inquiries, and promoting bank products. Supports team development and identifies sales opportunities to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Open, maintain, and close customer accounts (checking, savings, IRA, deposits).
Explain bank products and cross-sell services.
Resolve customer issues and provide account support.
Process account updates and maintain accurate records.
Ensure confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.
Support team operations, reporting, and audits.
Meet sales and relationship growth goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–3 years of banking or customer service experience.
Basic knowledge of financial products.

Requirements:

Completion of required training programs.
Ability to handle accounts, debit cards, and customer maintenance.
Knowledge of fraud prevention, wire transfers, and online banking.

Skills:

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic math and computer proficiency.
Professional attitude and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
40 hours per week
