Banking Relationship Officer

Overview:

As a Banking Relationship Officer, you will play a critical role in fostering and managing long-term relationships with both individual and business clients. Your main responsibility will be to understand customer financial needs and offer appropriate banking solutions that align with their goals. This position combines expert customer service with sales strategies, ensuring that clients receive personalized advice and services to help them thrive financially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
Proactively identify opportunities to expand and strengthen client relationships through tailored financial solutions.
Offer a wide range of banking products and services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and investment solutions, based on customers' individual or business needs.
Assist customers in navigating digital and mobile banking tools to enhance their overall banking experience.
Work with clients to assess their financial goals and offer strategic recommendations to help them meet those objectives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures, protecting both customer interests and bank assets.
Collaborate with branch colleagues to meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the branch.
Take on additional responsibilities as required to support branch operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in customer service, banking, or financial services, with a strong focus on relationship building and sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in offering financial products and services, such as loans, mortgages, and investment products.
Proficiency with cash handling and financial transaction processing.
Comfortable with technology, including mobile banking apps and online platforms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs.
