Role Overview:

Responsible for driving sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products in alignment with bank policies and procedures. Ensures effective referrals to additional bank services and insurance products while delivering high-quality client guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute effective mortgage marketing and business development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.
Fully comply with all Truist policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations.
Provide sound mortgage advice based on a complete understanding of client needs and Truist Mortgage product benefits.
Consistently implement Truist’s referral process by connecting mortgage clients with additional bank solutions.
Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with documentation follow-up for clients, attorneys, or appraisers as required through quality control or post-closing review.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in banking and/or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Solid interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency with relevant computer applications.
Must meet SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act requirements within 30 days, including NMLS registration and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent financial sales experience.
2+ years of residential mortgage lending experience with strong knowledge of the local market and regulations.
Proven sales achievements and prior leadership roles.
