Job Overview:Wealth Strategist

The Wealth Strategist identifies, engages, acquires, and retains high net worth clients and prospects in holistic wealth management planning. Serves as a primary relationship manager for high net worth clients and families, while coordinating advice and activities with other members of the Wealth team. Determines and develops revenue-producing opportunities in multiple product lines to achieve growth and profitability goals through a diversified financial planning based approach. Serves as a Brand Ambassador by representing and promoting the Wealth line of business within the Bank and across the communities served.

Primary Job Duties:

• The fundamental responsibility of Client Acquisition is to identify and draw in new clients for the Bank's wealth services by actively seeking out prospects, leveraging client referrals, and working closely with Bank colleagues. It also encompasses the formation and cultivation of strategic collaborations with key industry players to elevate acquisition endeavors. External networking engagements and market development initiatives are integral aspects of this role.
• Relationship Management - Serves as a primary point of contact and advocate for high net worth prospects and clients. Maintains current knowledge and awareness of client circumstances, conditions, and overall relationship with the Bank to develop appropriate wealth plans. Represents the full services offering to clients, including investments, banking, financial planning, insurance, and trust services. Develops and executes a high-touch, client-centric experience to maintain and expand existing client relationships. Assists in the planning and facilitation of client events.
• Specialized Financial Advice - Provides tailored guidance on wealth management for potential and current clients. Develops strategic, comprehensive, and forward-looking plans to meet the financial needs and goals of affluent clients. Identifies suitable products, services, and solutions in accordance with the specific needs, desires, and objectives of the client. Collaborates with colleagues in the department to offer continuous advice, products, and services that evolve alongside the clients' needs.
• Building effective partnerships through collaboration involves forming strong alliances with Bank stakeholders to advance the department's strategic goals. It requires working hand in hand with experts from diverse business sectors to oversee the delivery of wealth management products and services to customers.

Essential Skills:

• Looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 years of experience in attracting clients, gathering assets, and offering thorough banking and financial planning guidance

• Seasoned in providing comprehensive financial planning solutions to address various financial challenges
• Banking experience
• Investment Management experience
• Insurance Planning experience
• Mastery in Trust and Estate Consultation
• The desired credential for advisors is the Advanced Advisor/Planning designation, highlighting advanced planning knowledge
• Series 7 license
• Holding the Series 65 or 66 license demonstrates an individual's proficiency in financial regulations and investment strategies
• Prospective license holders in State Life & LTC Insurance must satisfy the designated criteria and guidelines
