Position Overview:

As a Banking Branch Manager at PNC, you will oversee branch operations, lead a retail banking team, and drive business growth through excellent customer service and operational performance. This role focuses on managing branch priorities, developing employees, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across all banking channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage branch priorities through effective planning and execution to support overall branch success and operational efficiency.
  • Drive revenue growth and strengthen customer loyalty through consultative conversations and customized financial solutions.
  • Create a seamless and convenient banking experience across multiple customer service channels.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve business and organizational objectives.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and employee development initiatives.
  • Lead and implement a structured sales process to achieve performance goals and improve customer retention.
  • Increase branch revenue by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with consumer and business clients.
  • Support business banking growth through community involvement and business development activities.
  • Coach employees on consultative sales techniques to improve customer financial well-being and achieve business results.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Deliver a differentiated customer experience through leadership, coaching, and operational support.
  • Encourage the use of digital banking tools and technology-driven interactions to provide customers with convenient financial solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively while ensuring smooth branch operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Connect customers with the full range of PNC products and services to provide a seamless omni-channel banking experience.
  • Attract and retain top talent through structured onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and career development opportunities.
  • Promote employee growth and maintain strong performance standards through ongoing feedback and support.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Education: A college degree is not required. Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, military service, or relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Skills: Leadership, banking knowledge, customer relationship management, decision-making, proactive problem-solving, consultative selling, people management, and results orientation.
  • Competencies: Branch banking operations, communication, digital awareness, multitasking, delegation, and sales management.
  • Certifications/Licenses: No certifications or licenses are required.
