In your role as a Senior Banking Specialist, you will be crucial in:

• Building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' financial details to recommend, demonstrate, and sell appropriate products and services that align with their financial goals.
• Leveraging cutting-edge banking technology to deliver seamless and efficient banking services to clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets for a variety of financial products, including commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate financing, mortgages, treasury services, deposit products, wealth management solutions, investment products, international deposits, wire transfers, and other financial services.
• Originating and structuring different types of loans, such as Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs), residential mortgages, and business loans.
• Ensuring compliance with all MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) regulations, including annual renewals, while maintaining a solid understanding of interest rates, loan terms, and financing options to provide the best service to clients.
• Staying informed on the full range of loan products offered by the bank, and understanding the specific qualifications required for each product.
• Providing expert assistance to clients with a variety of financial services, including cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, payments, wire transfers, and currency exchange.
• Exhibiting a high degree of initiative and work ethic, consistently striving to exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding service.
• Applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to effectively meet client needs and resolve challenges.
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure that the right products and services are offered to customers.
• Effectively engaging with clients, building trust, and communicating with clarity and confidence.
• Providing coaching and mentoring to other employees to help them achieve their sales and service targets, fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Over two years of experience in customer service, teller operations, sales, and mortgage loan origination (MLO) in the banking or financial services industry.
• Series 6 and 63 licenses, allowing participation in investment activities and the sale of life insurance products.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients clearly and effectively.
• Expertise in sales and customer service, with a proven ability to identify potential clients, build relationships, and expand business opportunities.
• In-depth knowledge of branch technology, mobile apps, and online banking systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions to meet customer needs.
• Strong adaptability and the ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, and technologies.
• Ability to follow established operational procedures and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
