Job Summary:

As a Retail Banking Leader, one is responsible for coaching a high-performing branch team to achieve and exceed performance targets through instruction, training, and modeling of sales behaviors, while also upholding operational excellence. This role focuses heavily on coaching for sales success, revenue growth, and operational integrity, emphasizing effective sales practices and client interactions that lead to a high level of client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Business Performance: Foster market expansion of key customer associations and attain growth objectives in financial outcomes (including deposits, loans, and non-interest income). Actively search for and deliver appropriate client referrals to the designated team member(s) to achieve growth targets and implement effective sales ventures. Use independent judgment and discretion to make informed financial decisions.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching: Create and execute business development, actively support execution of partner produced sales and branch initiatives. Provide training/development/coaching to branch teams on mission and how to effectively engage to deliver on targets. Foster the right environment for branch teams and clients. Responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.
• Client Experience: Drive client engagement and learning utilizing tools and systems at your disposal. Foster a workplace culture that is dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences while adhering to our mission and values. Tackle and resolve problems regarding branch operations and client satisfaction.
• Risk Management: Cultivate a risk-aware culture within teams that facilitates the identification and mitigation of reputational, regulatory, and client risks. Ensure team members are knowledgeable about and committed to following bank policies and regulations to achieve operational excellence.
• Performs distinct projects and additional tasks as necessary.
• Consistently complies with the regulatory and compliance protocols associated with the position as specified and completes the necessary compliance training sessions. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Fulfilling the educational prerequisite involves either graduating from high school or securing a GED, HiSET, or TASC accreditation
• 5+ Years of overall branch sales experience, required
• (2) A prerequisite is having served in a leadership role for two or more years
• Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 requires individuals to complete the registration process with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
• Candidates are preferred to have completed an undergraduate degree program lasting four years or its equivalent
