Job Overview for Financial Planner:

The role of the Financial Planner involves identifying, engaging, acquiring, and retaining high net worth clients and prospects through comprehensive wealth management planning. They act as the primary relationship manager for affluent clients and families and coordinate advice and activities with other members of the Wealth team. The consultant identifies and develops revenue-generating opportunities across various product lines to achieve growth and profitability objectives through a diverse financial planning approach. They also serve as a Brand Ambassador by representing and promoting the Wealth business line within the Bank and the communities it serves.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 12 years of expertise in client acquisition, asset aggregation, and delivering comprehensive banking and financial counsel

• Asset Gathering experience
• Demonstrated skill in crafting detailed financial roadmaps to guide individuals towards their financial objectives
• Banking experience
• Investment Management experience
• Insurance Planning experience
• Competence in Trust and Estate Arrangements
• The favored certification among professionals is the Advanced Advisor/Planning designation for planning expertise
• Series 7 license
• Successful completion of the Series 65 or 66 license exam is a prerequisite for individuals wishing to engage in financial advising activities
• The State Life & LTC Insurance license is granted upon successful completion of the mandated guidelines and conditions

Primary Job Duties:

• The key role of Client Acquisition is to identify and capture new customers for the Bank's wealth products through proactive outreach efforts, client recommendations, and partnerships with Bank associates. It also involves developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key influencers to enhance acquisition strategies. The individual is accountable for external networking activities and driving market expansion.
• Relationship Management - Serves as a primary point of contact and advocate for high net worth prospects and clients. Maintains current knowledge and awareness of client circumstances, conditions, and overall relationship with the Bank to develop appropriate wealth plans. Represents the full services offering to clients, including investments, banking, financial planning, insurance, and trust services. Develops and executes a high-touch, client-centric experience to maintain and expand existing client relationships. Assists in the planning and facilitation of client events.
• Financial Planning Support - Offers comprehensive wealth management advice to prospects and clients. Develops strategic, detailed, and long-term strategies to meet the financial requirements and objectives of affluent clients. Profiles suitable products, services, and solutions based on the needs, desires, and goals of the client. Engages with other team members in the division to provide continuous advice, products, and services that cater to the evolving needs of clients.
• Fostering collaboration entails nurturing valuable relationships with Bank stakeholders to advance the strategic direction of the department. It necessitates interacting with specialists across various business units to ensure the efficient rollout of wealth management products and services for clients.
