Job Summary:

In this position, you will evaluate and underwrite a variety of financing requests, including mortgage warehousing, mortgage servicing rights, working capital lines of credit, and other bank lending products. You will work closely with loan officers to assess credit risk and analyze loans with complex structures in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to review loan structures, financial projections, entity structures, collateral, market data, and industry analyses to determine inherent risks and develop recommendations for Credit Administration. This includes preparing opportunity summaries, loan presentations, administrative action memos, and annual relationship reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial condition and risk associated with financing requests in alignment with the Bank’s credit standards and current market conditions.
• Perform detailed financial statement analysis, reviewing complex financial reports and compiling necessary information to present financing recommendations to senior management or the Loan Committee.
• Participate in virtual or on-site customer visits and due diligence meetings alongside sales representatives to engage with prospective and existing clients.
• Provide mentorship to junior credit analysts by reviewing their work, including compliance certificates and routine underwriting items.
• Collaborate with internal sales, processing, and treasury management teams to build and strengthen comprehensive banking relationships.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate understanding of general banking operations, including deposit management, loan servicing, treasury functions, and commercial banking products and services.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, legal obligations, and industry standards.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
