Job Overview:

Commercial Bankers serve as trusted financial partners to business clients by delivering tailored banking solutions that support growth, cash flow management, and long-term financial success.

This full-time position is based in Clinton, MD and requires 40 hours per week. The Commercial Banker is responsible for providing outstanding client service, managing business banking relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering financial solutions aligned with client needs while strengthening long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients and key decision-makers
• Identify client financial needs and recommend suitable commercial banking products and services
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit data to support lending decisions
• Assist clients with loan applications, credit structuring, and account services
• Drive business growth by actively sourcing new client opportunities and expanding existing relationships
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client solutions and service excellence

Additional Responsibilities:

• May be required to support notary services if applicable

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in banking, business banking, sales, or financial services preferred
• Strong relationship management and client communication skills
• Ability to analyze financial information and recommend solutions
• Sales-driven mindset with strong business development abilities
• Proficiency in digital banking tools and CRM systems

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
