Qualifications:

• Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED to be considered.
• Applicants must possess a minimum of one year of experience in client consultation that is relationship-driven, or in consultative sales, with a preference for individuals with a background in the banking industry.
• To qualify for the Branch Relationship Banker role, candidates need to have a minimum of one year of banking experience, which includes conducting deposit transactions, managing accounts, opening new accounts, and handling consumer lending services.
• Qualifying for registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) or currently holding a valid and reputable registration.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and bolster relationships with clients, new and old, by engaging in proactive outreach and consultative conversations.
• Determine client necessities and advise on appropriate banking products and services including savings plans, lending facilities, credit card deals, and online banking utilities.
• Recommend internal specialists including Mortgage, Investments, Small Business, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Commercial Banking to clients.
• Reach personal goals in sales, service excellence, and client referrals to bolster the overall branch performance.
• Conduct transactions with efficiency and precision, making certain that all activities adhere to the established bank protocols and standards.
• Provide professional and timely solutions to address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the resolution.
• Inform clients about the range of digital banking capabilities available to enrich their banking interactions.
• Get involved in community outreach and networking events to establish a strong brand presence and attract potential customers.

Position Levels:

• Achieves success in fulfilling the obligatory onboarding and training requirements.
• Executes transactions, handles account services, and resolves client concerns independently.
• Reaches the established milestones for account initiations, loan approvals, credit card allocations, client referrals, and analyzing financial profiles.
• Illustrates adeptness in client care and foundational consultative selling competencies.
• Demonstrates exceptional consultative sales skills and consistently exceeds performance objectives.
• Ensures that NMLS registration is valid and in good order.
• Tasked with the management of an assigned consumer banking client base.
• Successfully completes advanced development programs to display competency.
• Participates actively in community service work, nonprofit endeavors, or professional networking communities.
