The responsibility of the Corporate Banker is to ensure exceptional client service by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They are required to develop new relationships and enhance existing ones by asking questions to determine needs, proposing suitable products and services, and referring clients to the relevant bank partners as needed. Furthermore, they play a role in uncovering and initiating consumer lending options.

Corporate Banker Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service by promptly acknowledging clients, understanding their needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and responding promptly to their inquiries.
• Initiate discussions with clients and prospects regarding their financial reviews and business financial evaluations to suggest potential solutions and uncover further financial needs.
• Follow through on suggestions and honor commitments made to clients.
• Engage in direct correspondence with external and internal clients and consistently provide innovative solutions and resolve issues in alignment with the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
• Help individuals and businesses open accounts, whether they are already clients or newcomers.
• Contribute to the collaborative spirit among Client Service Specialists and perform teller duties, like handling cash transactions, as needed.
• Contribute to supporting the branch goal by spotting and referring a broad scope of bank products and services to the relevant internal business partners.
• Maintain awareness of new products and procedures.
• Resolve client concerns and requests efficiently, showcasing strong dedication to follow-up.
• Strengthen relationships with enterprise, clientele, and reliability bodies.
• Assigned duties may extend beyond the stated requirements.

Qualifications for Corporate Banker:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience in a client service specialist (teller) or related banking role is preferred.
• Familiarity with consumer banking fundamentals and available business solutions.
• Dedication and interest in developing consumer lending expertise.
• Ability to follow established operational guidelines.
• Accuracy in cash handling, account balancing, and mathematical calculations.
• Ability to manage multiple client requests efficiently.
• Strong client relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of applicable state laws and regulations.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred.
