The Regional Branch Leader is expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of financial products, services, and industry trends in order to provide expert guidance to both clients and associates. This role is driven by passion, customer-centricity, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Significant Job Tasks and Duties:
Leads the achievement of objectives, customer service initiatives, marketing activities, and daily operational functions within the branch:
Educate and guide associates on effectively communicating the full range of bank resources, including in-branch services, digital capabilities, and partner offerings
Conduct regular team meetings focused on time management, communication development, goal tracking, routine operations, security compliance, and operational policies to enhance employee confidence and effectiveness
Recruit, train, develop, evaluate, and coach associates to ensure expectations for performance and conduct are consistently met
Achieve personal, team, and branch goals through a needs-based approach that delivers valued solutions and recommendations
Lead a relationship-driven team supporting small businesses, corporate entities, institutional partners, and mortgage and financial advisory professionals
Support consumer lending activities by soliciting applications, maintaining knowledge of loan policies and procedures, overseeing branch consumer loan portfolios, and coaching associates on loan sales and processing
Develop and expand existing and new small business banking relationships through direct client engagement within the market
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by retaining and developing highly engaged associates
Ensure all departmental documentation and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and required compliance training
Respond to customer inquiries and transactions accurately and professionally while engaging in meaningful conversations to identify needs and recommend solutions
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to competently execute all essential duties. The following qualifications represent the required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Skills:
Strong ability to communicate and disseminate information clearly and effectively
Proven capability to lead and manage a results-driven sales environment while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
Ability to guide teams through a fast-paced and evolving banking environment with a proactive leadership approach
Effective interpersonal and presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Two to four years of management or leadership experience
Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required

Computer Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Ability to leverage social media platforms to promote brand awareness and gain market insights
