Job Description for Investment Advisor:

Investment Advisors are based within bank branches and work collaboratively across multiple branches while managing an assigned book of business. Advisors execute an advice and planning strategy to help clients achieve their savings, investing, and retirement goals. Responsibilities:

• Assists clients in planning investment and insurance strategies, tailoring financial plans to their needs.
• Cultivates and retains an investment and insurance book of clients.
• Elevates client satisfaction through adept management of sales procedures and service transactions, identifying growth prospects, and facilitating referrals to relevant internal contacts.
• Expands and maintains client networks by actively engaging in business development and networking activities.
• Improves customer allegiance and share of wallet by delivering superior customer experiences.
• Applies expertise in products and procedures to effectively resolve client concerns in a timely and fitting manner.
• Maps out and implements investment and insurance strategies, selecting fitting products to support client objectives.
• Delivers customized financial guidance and recommendations that cater to the specific needs and objectives of each client.
• Supervises budgetary outlines and suggests changes as required.
• Coaches and educates branch employees and internal stakeholders on spotting potential investments.
• Boosts investment awareness and training for employees at branch locations.
• Works closely with branch managers and investment sales associates to coordinate branch endeavors in reaching investment goals.
• Nurtures communication effectiveness with both internal and external contacts to drive referrals.
• Consistently monitors business outcomes and pipeline management with branch managers and partners.
• Maintains the standards set for responding to leads and referrals efficiently.
• Complies with the policies, guidelines, and legal requirements in effect.

Qualifications & Experience

• Usually requires the successful completion of a Bachelor’s program.
• Over a biennium of relevant professional experience.
• Instead of a traditional degree, a blend of educational qualifications, specialized certifications, and pertinent experience (including military service) could be recognized.
• Skilled at identifying potential clients, fostering relationships, assessing credit risk, analyzing financial data, building financial models, delivering public presentations, and engaging in sales tasks.
• Skill set includes coaching proficiency, adept communication skills, and customer experience management expertise.
