Job Summary:Client Manager

The Client Manager is responsible for developing and managing consumer, Corporate & Industrial (C&I), and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan and deposit portfolios. The role focuses on balancing portfolio growth with strong credit quality while minimizing risk through adherence to bank policies and guidelines. The Client Manager builds and maintains strong client relationships by assessing financial needs, identifying risks and opportunities, and aligning appropriate banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an active portfolio of consumer, C&I, and CRE relationships (typically under $3–5MM), ensuring achievement of targets related to deposits, loans, revenue, profitability, and client acquisition.
• Perform credit analysis and loan structuring, including preparation and approval of loan documentation within assigned authority or in coordination with Credit Officers.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including past due accounts, collateral exceptions, covenant compliance, risk ratings, and borrowing base conditions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cross-selling of bank products and services.
• Partner with Financial Center Managers and Market Leaders to support C&I client relationships and growth strategies.
• Maintain strong knowledge of lending products, deposit solutions, treasury services, capital markets, and economic trends.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and lending policy changes.
• Analyze financial statements to evaluate client performance and creditworthiness.
• Manage the full loan lifecycle including structuring, documentation, approvals, closings, and issue resolution.
• Represent the bank in community engagement, networking, and business development activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, lending, or business development preferred
• In-market experience preferred
• NMLS certification required within the first year of employment
