Consumer Banking Consultants are responsible for keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to better serve their clients.

A Consumer Banking Consultant provides customers with high quality, prompt, and professional financial services. Responsible for interacting with clients and providing exceptional service by greeting them as they enter one of our branches and providing them with the services needed to meet their financial goals. This role will process financial transactions in an accurate, efficient, and friendly manner while maintaining operational standards, and assist the team in meeting branch goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Aid the team in attaining growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition by facilitating introductions between clients and team members for successful sales endeavors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing account inquiries, resolving issues, and managing complaints effectively through thorough research and clear communication. Engage with clients to provide educational resources and valuable insights, fostering a positive customer experience. Work towards fulfilling behavioral activity goals established by Retail Leadership, including generating referrals and enhancing client engagement.
• Process daily financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner to minimize preventable losses. Follow and understand all applicable bank policies and regulations for compliance.
• Participates in specific projects, as well as additional duties and responsibilities as required. Demonstrates a continuous commitment to following the regulatory and conformity guidelines pertinent to the role, as specified, and completes obligatory compliance education. Responsible for upholding compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Meeting the criteria of high school qualification or its parallel (GED, HiSET, TASC) or a bona fide foreign equal is necessary.
• Required: 3 years of customer service and sales expertise.
• Preferably, candidates will have a background in the financial services industry.
