Sales Training Specialist

We are looking for a candidate who can take charge of instructing our Branch and Call Center employees in operations and sales. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fostering learning and development in the workplace and has the skills to deliver training to staff in an engaging, positive, and energetic way.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist participants in Retail Learning & Development classes by leading them through Rockland Trust procedures
• Support training programs focused on Rockland Trust's customer service standards and sales strategies
• Ensure that both virtual and in-person classrooms are prepared for incoming participants
• Develop all required training materials for each class session
• Provide guidance to Training Managers on enhancing classroom content with innovative ideas for improved engagement
• Facilitate educational sessions both online and in-person at multiple Rockland Trust locations
• Evaluate employees’ skills and quality of performance
• Assist the Retail Learning & Development Training Team with administrative tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications include:

• Previous experience in training or relevant experience in the banking industry
• Confidence in delivering engaging presentations to audiences of varying sizes and experience levels
• Strong commitment to customer service excellence
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lead groups through discussions and practical exercises while providing professional feedback
• Ability to motivate others by maintaining high energy, patience, and a positive outlook
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, focused, and systematic approach to accomplishing tasks and goals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and workplace video conferencing software
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with trainees and internal staff
• Willingness and ability to travel to multiple Rockland Trust training locations
