The Wealth Planning Advisor role is a three-year program with a base salary for financial advisors or planners who will be providing financial planning advice and selling investment management services.
A Wealth Planning Advisor will need to leverage their experience to service the unique and complex needs of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to their client's goals. The role will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for providing client service & developing the relationship to achieve greater share of wallet by helping clients achieve their goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection.
Depth & Scope:
Capable of selling investments and presenting customized financial plans
Exhibits a strong focus on customer satisfaction by consistently providing exceptional service to drive customer loyalty and business development
Promises to deliver a comprehensive on-boarding experience to each new client, involving thorough client discovery, conducting a financial needs analysis to offer goals-based advice, introducing the centralized client servicing team as required by the client, and finalizing all relevant client documents
Ability to form partnerships that facilitate the generation of leads
Demonstrates proficiency in managing goals, prioritizing tasks, and being adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
Verifies that both new and existing clients have access to a superior MA Planning Experience
Create a strategic framework to safeguard that every client engages in an Annual Client Review (ACR) gathering containing an enhanced program tailored to the client's complete wealth management necessities and fostering regular proactive correspondences
Functions as the primary liaison for client relationships in the MA segment at TD Wealth, handling all aspects of the client's associations with TD Bank and making referrals to Retail and Wealth partners and associated companies when deemed necessary
Creates and implements a tailored service model to cater to the needs of clients in MA
Achieves quarterly and yearly sales targets
Increases the portion of the wallet by anticipating client demands and proposing the most fitting wealth management solutions. Enhances profits and ensures clients are provided with an exceptional level of service experience
Identify prospects within your existing clientele and network for sending business referrals to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
Conducts tasks thoroughly and in compliance with set regulations and policies
Follows all federal, state, and SRO regulations and internal company policies concerning business operations, including guidelines from regulatory bodies such as the OCC, SEC, and State Insurance Commissioners
Secures the attainment of all specified Continuing Education necessities
Charged with the responsibility of comprehending and abiding by TD Bank & TD Wealth policies and procedures
Tasked with overseeing the procedures of TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) by acquiring and authenticating the crucial customer identification details, and fulfilling additional Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements according to the Business Unit AML guidelines
Identifies client assets and directs upscale clients to the appropriate HNW Wealth partners when necessary
Charged with creating and maintaining a productive and positive workplace environment that is geared towards supporting the holistic needs of the Wealth team
Extends support, wealth recommendation education, and continual evaluation to Retail and Small Business workers
Education & Experience:
Either a 4-year degree or comparable work experience is obligatory for this position
Over two years of proven performance in selling investments and delivering financial planning solutions effectively
Thorough knowledge of different financial instruments and services available for investment purposes
Essential registrations encompass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; those possessing solely the Series 65 will need to procure a Series 63 or 66 within the Licensing & Registration timeline
Possession of necessary Life/Health Licenses or the capacity to acquire them as per Licensing & Registration Schedule is a prerequisite
Profound knowledge of tactics for expanding a wealth management business, including diverse products, services, and the industry as a whole
Documented capacity to attain and surpass sales goals
Competent in providing services related to retail and small business banking
Established ability to forge connections and collaborate effectively with various departments at TD Bank, distinguished as America's Most Convenient Bank
Ability to move within the specified location to meet with prospects, clients, and partners, with travel amounting to 75% of the work time
Driver's License required
