Job Summary:Relationship Banking Manager

The Relationship Banking Manager is accountable for building, managing, and expanding consumer, Corporate & Industrial (C&I), and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan and deposit portfolios. The role emphasizes achieving sustainable loan growth while maintaining strong credit quality and managing risk in accordance with bank policies. By assessing client strengths, weaknesses, and risk factors, the RM develops long-term relationships and delivers customized financial solutions aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of consumer, C&I, and CRE relationships, typically under $3–5MM, while achieving targets for deposits, loans, revenue, profitability, and client acquisition.
• Perform credit analysis and loan structuring; prepare and approve loan documentation within delegated authority or in coordination with Credit Officers.
• Monitor portfolio quality by tracking delinquencies, collateral exceptions, covenant compliance, risk ratings, and borrowing capacity.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and referral networks, promoting a full range of banking products and services.
• Support Financial Center Managers and Market Leaders by providing guidance on C&I relationship management.
• Maintain strong knowledge of deposit products, lending solutions, Treasury Management offerings, capital markets, and economic conditions.
• Stay current on regulatory updates, compliance requirements, lending policy changes, and industry developments.
• Analyze client financial statements to evaluate overall business performance and creditworthiness.
• Manage the end-to-end loan process including documentation, approvals, closing, and issue resolution.
• Represent the bank in community engagement, networking, and business development activities.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and internal controls.
• Maintain consistent attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education):

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, lending, or business development preferred
• In-market experience preferred
• NMLS certification required within the first year of employment
