Role Overview:

The Account Services Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of financial transactions. This position is key to building strong client relationships and ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions such as check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments with precision and accuracy
• Provide service to clients and support bank staff by operating a teller drawer in the branch lobby or drive-through
• Identify opportunities to offer additional products and services and refer clients to the appropriate bank personnel
• Develop the ability to detect potential fraud and report any concerns to management
• Follow all departmental, banking, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Maintain and promote the established Wintrust organizational culture
• Assist in managing the opening and closing procedures for smooth branch operations
• Participate in community events as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of six months experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to travel between branches as needed
• Availability to work all shifts, including Saturdays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to stand for extended periods of time
