Commercial Lender

Job Title: Commercial Lender

The primary role is to grow and retain profitable client relationships by delivering value-added financial solutions. This position requires strong relationship management skills, product knowledge, credit expertise, and the ability to independently manage client portfolios. Performance is measured through business development, revenue growth, risk management, and long-term client relationship success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new commercial business through prospecting, referrals, and cross-selling.
• Build and maintain Centers of Influence (COIs) and attend networking events.
• Structure loans and perform credit analysis.
• Generate commercial and real estate loans.
• Manage and close loans typically ranging from $1M to $10M.
• Drive deposit growth by promoting additional banking products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in lending, credit support, or relationship management.
• Knowledge: Commercial banking products, loan processing, and credit analysis (C&I and Commercial Real Estate).

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Ability to grow loan portfolios and cross-sell products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent communication and active listening.
• Regular use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to review documents and perform office tasks.
• Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
