Role Overview:

Branch Service Officer are pivotal in setting a new benchmark for customer service excellence, overseen by the Market Business Service Officer (MBSO). They oversee Support Professionals and are accountable for driving efficiency and effectiveness in all business and service activities conducted within specific branches.

Education & Experience:

• Meeting the educational requirement involves holding a bachelor's degree or a similar level of education
• Previous industry experience
• Active certification in Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and 10 (SU), combined with either Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) is essential
• Extra authorizations as specified by those in charge

Knowledge & Skills:

• It is important to possess effective communication abilities in both written and verbal forms
• Vigilant observation of minutiae
• Competence in prioritizing and handling intricate requirements adeptly and escalating if needed
• Proficiency in spotting issues and trajectories to anticipate transformations and propose extensive fixes
• Providing substantiated proof of possessing strong leadership abilities and talent nurturing skills
• Candidates with previous supervisory roles are encouraged to apply
• Impressive skills in structuring and managing time effectively
• Proficiency in addressing and resolving conflicts in a remarkable manner
• Competence in overseeing relationships, motivating, and leading groups across different markets

Key responsibilities include:

• Empowering Service Professionals with better communication and training opportunities
• Partnering with Market Sales and Risk divisions to foster execution excellence across all business operations
• Collaborating with the MBSO to facilitate the implementation of service initiatives
• Support the team in meeting the organization's strategic priorities by influencing and coaching employees to change their behavior, with a focus on uniformity, excellence, and adherence to guidelines
• Direct, lead, and mentor a group of Support and Service Staff members
• Emphasize the value of ongoing training and skill development for Service and Support Professionals to stay relevant and competitive in the ever-evolving business landscape
• Aid in the facilitation of the hiring process for new employees, especially Financial Advisors and their Support Professionals, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization
• Establish a collaborative relationship with MBSO and Human Resources to address aspects of people management, such as appraisals, performance oversight, and conflict resolution
• Uphold resilient relationships with vital partners in the Branch, Market, Region, and Home Office; participate in team assemblies, regional, and national meetings
• Coordinate regular face-to-face sessions with Support Professionals to provide advice, set career targets, handle job tasks, and enhance team collaboration
• Administer the scheduling and deployment of support professionals to ensure adequate coverage for financial advisors at the branch
• Recognize opportunities for acknowledging Support Professionals by sharing best practices, successful stories, and achievements
• Foster a branch ethos that reflects Firm values, with a focus on championing diversity and inclusion
