Responsibilities include:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction by promptly greeting clients, recognizing their requirements, proposing relevant solutions, and responding promptly to any questions they may have.
  • Promote client participation in financial assessments and business reviews to deliver tailored solutions and identify any extra financial requirements.
  • Provide advice and uphold promises made to clients.
  • Consistently engages with external and internal clients, offering proactive resolutions and problem-solving in line with the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
  • Facilitates the opening of accounts for individuals and businesses, whether they are new to the institution or existing clients.
  • Contributes to the team spirit of Client Service Specialists and assists with teller functions, such as cash transactions, when the situation arises.
  • Aids in meeting the branch goal of pinpointing and recommending a diverse array of bank products and services to the correct internal business collaborators.
  • Maintains knowledge of current products and techniques.
  • Solves customer concerns and demands with a high level of commitment and consistency.
  • Establishing recognition of enterprise, consumer, and trust entities.
  • Tasks beyond the specified scope may be assigned accordingly.

Qualifications include:

  • Candidates must have either a high school diploma or a GED as a minimum qualification.
  • The preferred candidates for the position are those with one year of experience in client service specialist (teller) or other banking roles.
  • Familiarity with the core principles of consumer banking and the various business offerings provided.
  • Eagerness and readiness to actively progress skills in consumer lending.
  • Proficiency in executing prescribed Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately, reconciling accounts, and performing precise arithmetic calculations.
  • Meeting various client needs efficiently and promptly.
  • Proficient in developing strong client relationships by concentrating on establishing new connections and expanding existing ones, utilizing personal and business background to effectively engage with customers.
  • Well-versed in the state laws and regulations that pertain to products and services.
  • Competence in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic is a requirement.
  • Skill to handle weights of up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to manage prolonged periods of standing without difficulty.
  • Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred.
