Job Summary:

As a Banking Associate with First Citizens Bank, you will maintain the practice of fostering and broadening relationships with business proprietors within your community to aid them in realizing their financial aspirations.

Banking Associates are in charge of acquiring and supervising a group of business banking associations. They work closely with bank partners to deliver a complete array of deposit services and related business offerings. For more substantial connections, approval from a manager and/or suitable partner assistance may be necessary. They create and uphold an engaged list of potential clients, a plan for customer interaction, and dependable referral sources in line with a sales plan to realize production objectives and achieve profitability aspirations.

Qualifications:

• Either possess a bachelor's degree with four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development, or have a high school diploma/GED with eight years of experience in the field of business lending, credit, or business development.
• Successfully showcased expertise in business growth and established skill in nurturing and expanding customer partnerships.
• Showing strong expertise in financial analysis and evaluating creditworthiness.
• Familiarity with commercial loan products, savings and checking account options, and methods for optimizing cash handling.
• Proficient in effectively communicating, negotiating, and presenting ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Existing conflicts of interest (COIs) and channels for recommendations
• The ability to analyze financial information and make informed decisions regarding credit approvals is crucial in financial assessment and underwriting
• Familiarity with business loan options, deposit services, and cash flow management tools is essential
• Proficiency in delivering financial guidance and expertise
• Proficient in sales mapping and anticipating future outcomes
