Job Description: Banking Specialist

Banking Specialists play a crucial role in educating clients on various banking products and services available to them. Responsible for delivering financial assistance, which includes starting/closing accounts, assisting customers with inquiries, and marketing banking products. Supports team growth and identifies sales opportunities to fulfill customer needs.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Set up, maintain, and close customer accounts for checking, savings, IRA, and deposit needs.
• Explain the assortment of financial solutions and supplemental services provided by the bank, ensuring products are specially designed to meet the individual needs of clients.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide support for account-related matters.
• Process account adjustments and ensure the maintenance of reliable records.
• Protect confidentiality and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Organize support team tasks, reporting activities, and auditing protocols.
• Accomplish targets for sales and cultivating connections.

Candidate Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or a corresponding certificate must be attained.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in banking or customer service.
• Primary knowledge of financial services and banking instruments.

Technical Requirements:

• Achieving the mandatory training program objectives.
• Adept at handling financial accounts, debit card functions, and customer interactions.
• Knowledge encompassing fraud prevention tactics, wire transfer regulations, and online banking practices.

Key Competencies:

• Profound communication skills and a focus on delivering top-notch customer service.
• Ability to understand basic mathematical concepts and operate computers effectively.
• Maintaining a professional attitude along with a meticulous nature.

Availability & Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week
