Job Description: Retail Banker

The primary duty of a Retail Banker is to build relationships with customers and provide personalized financial advice. In charge of delivering financial assistance like commencing and ending accounts, helping customers with questions, and endorsing bank goods. Assists in team progression and pinpoints sales openings to address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Begin, uphold, and conclude customer accounts involving checking, savings, IRA, and deposit services.
• Explain bank products and cross-sale offerings to provide a full spectrum of financial services and supplementary packages designed to address the specific needs of clients.
• Provide solutions to customer problems and offer account support services.
• Execute account modifications and uphold the integrity of data records.
• Protect sensitive information and provide outstanding service to customers.
• Coordination of support team activities, reporting requirements, and audit processes.
• Meet targets for sales growth and fostering relationships.

Qualifications:

• Having a high school diploma or an equal qualification is mandatory.
• 0–3 years of entry-level background in banking or customer service.
• Foundational awareness of monetary products and financial services.

Requirements:

• Finishing essential training sessions.
• Capable of managing various accounts, debit cards, and customer service responsibilities.
• Proficiency in fraud mitigation techniques, wire transfer protocols, and internet banking functionalities.

Skills:

• Strong communication competencies and a dedication to serving customers well.
• Fundamental mathematical knowledge and basic computer competency.
• Demonstrating a professional approach and a focus on precision.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Total: 40 hours per week
