Job Description:

Execute a range of financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan repayments, and handling negotiable documents, all while ensuring top-notch customer care and endorsing bank offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Teller Operations:

• Handle the processing of deposits, withdrawals, loan repayments, and fund transfers.
• Cash checks and confirm the authenticity of negotiable documents.
• Offer for sale official checks, money orders, and traveler’s checks.
• Carry out transactions for cash advances using credit cards.
• Maintain daily cash reconciliation and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure precision while minimizing mistakes throughout all financial tasks.
• Adhere to all protocols established for tellers and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Encourage the promotion and cross-promotion of financial institution offerings.

Customer Service:

• Address customer queries and solve problems efficiently.
• Protect the privacy and confidentiality of customer data.
• Always deliver service with a professional and polite demeanor.

Team Collaboration:

• Aid colleagues and reinforce the functioning of branch activities.
• Be actively involved in training sessions, meetings, and opportunities for personal growth.
• Maintain open communication with management regarding problems and progress.
• Ensure that reports are completed with precision and punctuality.

Additional Duties:

• Complete evening deposit and administrative duties as required.
• Keep workspaces tidy, safe, and well-structured.

• Precise and effective handling of all banking transactions.
• Maintain a well-aligned cash drawer with minimal discrepancies.
• Build robust connections with clients and ensure high service standards.
• Provide prompt and precise operational reporting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of high school or its equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in dealing with cash or similar responsibilities; prior experience as a teller is preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with fundamental banking processes.

Required Skills and Training:

• Fulfillment of mandatory training courses such as the Mentor Program, GS3, and Precision program.
• Understanding of teller platforms, ATM reconciliation, and electronic funds transfer management.
• Comprehension of conformity, hazard supervision, and dual authority to ensure regulatory adherence and risk mitigation.

Skills and Abilities:

• Effective communication abilities and excellent customer care aptitudes.
• Strong proficiency in mathematics and keyboarding abilities.
• Maintain a polished image and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency in using office and banking machinery.

Physical Requirements:

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:15 AM – 6:15 PM
• Saturday: 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM
