Job Description:

The Cash Services Teller acts as the frontline contact for customers, delivering FirstBank’s high service standards while accurately processing transactions, addressing client inquiries, and identifying opportunities to recommend additional banking products and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support customers with a wide range of transactions in accordance with established procedures, service expectations, and brand standards, including answering basic questions related to account balances, transaction activity, fees, and interest rates.
• Maintain strict daily operational controls by ensuring cash drawer security, balancing transactions, following item processing protocols, identifying counterfeit currency, handling coin processing, reconciling ATM activity, and keeping teller stations properly stocked.
• Promote awareness of bank products and services while guiding customers on digital banking options such as mobile banking, online platforms, ATMs, and other technology-enabled services.
• Recognize customer needs and connect them with appropriate bank partners for additional financial solutions or services.
• Reduce operational and financial risk by adhering to internal procedures and confidentiality standards, including CTRs, SARs, Regulation CC requirements, documentation protocols, and robbery response procedures.
• Consistently deliver a high-quality and differentiated customer experience aligned with FirstBank service expectations.
• Follow all applicable banking regulations, internal controls, operational processes, and risk management policies, including security measures for fraud prevention and proper cash handling.
• Maintain dependable attendance and reliability in daily responsibilities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Demands working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and FirstBank-specific policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer proficiency and strong numerical skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically requires less than two years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain bonding within the first six months of employment.
