Job Summary for Customer Experience Banker:

The Customer Experience Banker delivers tailored financial solutions by assisting clients with daily banking needs, managing accounts, and recommending appropriate banking products and services.

Business Development & Client Engagement:

• Establish a consistent rhythm for SBA business growth, including:
• Planning and preparing for phone communications, with diligent follow-up tracking
• Conducting client retention calls
• Prospecting and onboarding new clients
• Engaging external contacts through outbound calls
• Participating in networking events
• Maintaining and expanding a robust COI (Center of Influence) network of community and business leaders to drive referrals
• Managing sales operations, performing credit analyses, structuring loans, preparing and submitting SBA loan packages, conducting client meetings, and evaluating personal characteristics
• Developing and nurturing new business relationships to expand professional networks

Credit Expertise & Risk Management:

• Demonstrates proficiency in corporate credit facilities, including:
• Designing tailored terms and offerings aligned with business needs, asset lifecycle, and growth plans
• Reviewing financial statements and tax returns to evaluate creditworthiness and risk for both individuals and businesses
• Assessing short- and long-term credit needs based on business sales cycles and expansion projections
• Educating prospective clients on loan evaluation procedures, SBA programs, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Coordinating with attorneys, loan closers, and internal teams to ensure timely loan closure and funding
• Balancing business priorities with client needs while managing risk exposure
• Complying with Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct
• Mentoring junior SBA lenders to enhance their skills and professional development
• Following bank policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, and OFAC
• Processing loan applications while adhering to fair lending practices and ethical sales standards
• Resolving client issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• College degree in finance or related discipline is preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in SBA lending preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in business development and/or financial services
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient with desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite
