Role Overview:

The Teller Manager efficiently oversees and manages the operations of the Teller division as well as the sales responsibilities of the Teller team. They ensure that customers are promptly attended to and that the department's transactions are balanced daily. This role collaborates with managers, supervisors, and staff across all levels and locations to maintain consistent delivery of exceptional service quality at FirstBank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Teller performance in daily sales and service activities to ensure adherence to best practices, bank guidelines, and brand standards while effectively addressing customer financial needs. Provide hands-on support when required.
• Handle escalated Teller issues and complex customer inquiries; coach and guide Teller staff using leadership strategies to ensure consistent sales and referral execution.
• Supervise daily Teller operations including cash drawer security, balancing cash drawers, item capture procedures, counterfeit detection, vault and branch cash management, and ATM balancing.
• Train and onboard new Tellers; monitor performance and manage scheduling and workflow of Teller staff.
• Ensure compliance with bank procedures and confidentiality requirements, including currency transaction reporting, suspicious activity reporting, Regulation CC holds, documentation standards, and robbery response protocols.
• Collaborate with Financial Center and Bank leadership regarding Teller operations and staffing needs.
• May serve as Security Coordinator for the branch when required.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and represent the bank in community and branch events.
• Maintain consistent customer service aligned with FirstBank service standards.
• Ensure adherence to safe and sound banking practices, including compliance with laws, regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and security protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience, specifically in Teller operations, is required.
