Job Summary:

The Assistant Banking Leader is responsible for enhancing branch revenue, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring top-notch client satisfaction, all while prioritizing a positive reputation within the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhance business performance by expanding the market share of key client connections and meeting financial growth objectives. Proactively facilitate and refer clients to appropriate team members to hit growth goals and implement effective sales strategies.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching: Assist in coaching, developing, and guiding team members. Actively encourage and facilitate the implementation of sales and marketing strategies created by partners. Emphasize the importance of training, growth, and coaching for branch teams to meet performance goals. Aid the Branch Banking Leader in tasks such as recruitment, performance appraisals, staff training, disciplinary measures, succession plans, and ensuring staff compliance with regulations.
• Enhance client interaction by utilizing available tools and systems to effectively engage and educate clients. Cultivate an environment that encourages dedication to fulfilling our mission and goals by prioritizing superior client experiences.
• Risk Management: Recognize and minimize potential risks to reputation, regulatory compliance, employees, and clients by educating team members and ensuring adherence to relevant bank policies and regulations. Achieve and maintain operational excellence.
• Oversee various aspects of talent management, including recruitment, performance appraisals, employee growth, disciplinary measures, succession strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Execute specific assignments and additional tasks as needed.
• Consistently follow regulatory and compliance guidelines associated with the role and complete all mandatory compliance training. Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) is required.
• At least two years of experience in branch sales is required.
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) may be required in compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its accompanying regulations.
• Experience working with a range of financial services in the banking sector is essential.
• Knowledge of banking risk management is important.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or relevant work experience is preferred.
• More than four years of experience in branch banking and sales within financial institutions is highly preferred.
• Previous leadership experience in a banking or financial services role is desirable.
