Account Services Associates focus on promoting financial products and services to customers, meeting their banking needs, and contributing to the growth of the institution.
As a primary point of contact for clients, Account Services Associates play an essential role in delivering the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Under the guidance of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, this role ensures banking transactions are performed accurately, ethically, and in compliance with Columbia Bank procedures and banking regulations. Additionally, Account Services Associates work to maintain and strengthen client relationships through meaningful interactions that uncover customer needs and identify opportunities to offer additional bank products and services.

Responsibilities include:
Manage teller transactions and cash handling for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
Effectively support and execute daily branch operations to maintain operational integrity.
Mitigate risk by securely handling cash and promptly managing accounting or fund transfers.
Build relationships with external and internal clients, anticipate needs, and provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
Maintain and continuously expand knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services and stay updated on changes.
Assess and identify client financial needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
Support branch referral goals by recognizing opportunities and directing clients to the appropriate business partner.

Qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of prior experience in banking or customer service preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Ability to understand and adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and technology systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data, written information, and verbal instructions.
