The Private Banker, an essential component of the branch team, is dedicated to acquiring new clients, strengthening current relationships, and aiding clients in building trust to achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities:

  • Listen actively for indications of financial wellness challenges during client discussions and offer personalized recommendations to help clients address these challenges and enhance their financial well-being.
  • Shows persistent success in meeting individual expectations related to tasks, behavior, and results.
  • Initiating personal and business banking partnerships, incorporating consumer checking services, small business financial solutions, diverse deposit offerings, home equity loans, unsecured credit options, and certificate of deposit investments.
  • Building effective partnerships with branch team members and business partners to drive customer growth and enhance relationships with current clients, skillfully managing sources of influence both within and outside the organization.
  • Upholding operational, risk, security, and audit procedures and policies, including detailed documentation of client engagements.
  • Assisting with client transactions on the Teller line is essential for the smooth functioning of branch operations.
  • Attend morning stand-ups and, now and then, guide end-of-day reflections.
  • Required to fulfill alternative responsibilities as instructed; obligations, roles, or activities could be modified, or fresh ones may be given without advance notice.
  • Demonstrates commitment to upholding all KeyBank policies and procedures, which involve conducting oneself professionally, adhering to ethical business standards, avoiding any conflicts of interest, and prioritizing the welfare of Key and its clients.

Education Qualifications:

  • Business experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED is mandatory
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

  • A minimum of 12 months of involvement in developing current and potential customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and establishing referral sources is a crucial requirement.
