Job Overview:
The Personal Banker is a banking professional who plays a key role in delivering TD's Brand promise at a Store location. The role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions while providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools that help customers achieve their financial goals.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or an equivalent GED credential is a prerequisite for this opportunity.
Preference given to those with 1 year of customer interaction experience (volunteering, educational background, or military service accepted).
Demonstrated abilities in customer service are sought after.
Teller experience preferred.
Readiness to be on duty during evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the designated timetable.
Fulfillment of Teller training along with Part 1 of platform training is mandatory for new hires.
Capable of multitasking and showcasing excellent organizational abilities in a rapid-paced context.
Outstanding communication talents (precise, lucid, and unvarying).
Skilled in resolving challenges effectively and prioritizing responsibilities efficiently.
Demonstrating the capacity to operate autonomously and adhere to assigned timelines.

Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office software.

Communicates with customers about the commencement/conclusion of accounts, digital banking tool functionalities, credit/debit card challenges, and general servicing inquiries.

Competently processes everyday financial transactions at the counter and customer service area.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of personal checking and savings accounts and resolving any debit or credit card problems.
Engages in customer engagement initiatives such as making outbound phone calls, relaying messages via SMS, following up on campaign leads, and generating leads independently.
Constantly offers top-notch service while endorsing, educating on, and directing towards TD merchandise.
Guides referrals to Store associates and partners regarding broader financial needs.
Effective risk management involves the handling of risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and establishing control measures:
Ensures conformity with operational policies, procedures, and regulatory prerequisites.
Implements customer validation practices, exercises meticulous scrutiny, and complies with legal requirements for transactions and account initiations.
Maintains the privacy of customer details and complies with the security regulations of the bank.
Regulates cash transactions, secures cash assets, follows cash limitations, and practices dual control protocols.
Ensures the aligned documentation with regulations, critical dates, and internal checks are in place.
Completes necessary courses on job-specific compliance and regulatory training.

Supports TD's strategy for customer service, making sure decisions are in accordance with the interests of customers and stakeholders.
Takes part in monitoring store functions to guarantee conformity with TD's risk guidelines.
