You act as the friendly ambassador of Rockland Trust, upholding our mission and assisting customers in understanding the world of banking.

What You'll Do:
Ensure that customers are greeted with a friendly welcome when they walk into the branch and are directed to the right team member to meet their needs effectively.
Deliver continual customer support, exhibiting adept, efficient, and polite customer service in personal engagements and telephonic interactions.
Assist clients in discovering the Rockland Trust banking products that are most beneficial for their specific financial situations.
Convey a sense of concern for customers by executing tasks with precision, such as processing deposits, facilitating withdrawals, accepting payments, verifying checks, and conducting other financial operations.
Play a role in decision-making together with your supervisor, with the chance for greater decision-making involvement as you gain more knowledge and practical experience.
Collaborate with our training staff and your branch peers to gain knowledge about these responsibilities, and to finish the Teller Training offered by Rockland Trust.
Complete any further assignments as required by supervisors.
Required Qualifications:
An equivalent to a high school diploma is accepted.
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written forms.
Adept at employing computers and technology to help achieve business goals efficiently.
Inherent traits leaning towards sales and service orientation.
Skillfully presenting oneself in a professional and presentable manner.
Cultivating a proactive approach in interactions with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in meeting the usual office requirements, like enduring long periods of standing and providing uninterrupted assistance to customers.
Competence in the manual lifting and transportation of objects weighing no more than 50 pounds.
Preparedness and competency to engage in a flexible workweek, possibly spanning weekends, as determined by customer needs.
Displaying the proficiency to effectively graduate from our training program.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Individuals applying for the position should have 1–2 years of teller experience or relevant skills in cash handling and customer service.
