Operating in a TD Store, the Teller Services Officer is pivotal in delivering top-notch customer experiences by swiftly and accurately carrying out routine banking transactions. Moreover, they are instrumental in familiarizing customers with the wide array of products and services offered by TD and guiding them towards tailored solutions through referrals to specialized partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently upholding TD's brand promise to customers by consistently demonstrating the appropriate behaviors required to ensure a memorable customer experience in the store
• Efficiently managing customer transactions, which encompasses tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit box operations
• Manages cash transactions meticulously, including activities like check cashing, currency verification, cash drawer balancing, and nightly deposits with precision
• Responds to customer inquiries and resolves their concerns through established procedures, escalating to managers if needed
• Leads the lobby by managing customer movement, greeting customers warmly, and assisting them as necessary
• Understands customer tendencies in banking interactions, including timing and methods, and guides them on self-service and digital options that cater to their specific needs
• Advocates for customers through tailored discussions to identify needs, offer financial and digital solutions, and recommend suitable partners for additional support
• Displays a knack for making sound judgments and delivering timely solutions, escalating more complicated issues to the management team for handling
• Adheres to company policies and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, while completing operational tasks to minimize risks and ensure customer security
• Validates the identity of customers by following specified customer authentication policies and procedures
• Monitors the cash levels in cash registers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs for reconciliation purposes
• Adheres to the prescribed procedures and guidelines concerning safe deposit box operations
• Responsible for the maintenance of cash drawers and vaults, the individual must ensure that appropriate cash limits are maintained and that cash is secured at all times

Qualifications:

• Whether through earning a high school diploma or a GED, individuals acquire proof of their educational accomplishments
• Having six months of relevant work experience is advantageous; however, candidates can exhibit an equivalent level of expertise through volunteering, education, or military service
• Ability to be present during specified hours of operation, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as outlined
• Candidates with a track record of strong customer service are preferred
• Strong organizational skills

• Aptitude for navigating successfully through a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Possessing strong communication abilities by being brief, unambiguous, and steady
